Hello!
Soooo here is a rough outlook into my current life.
I'm Ang Tse Pin, or just Pin. I'm of chinese descent, and my family currently resides in Singapore. I am a student of Temasek Polytechnic, and I am busy studying. Really busy studying, like most other Asians. This wasn't meant to be a stereotype, however it is the hard truth for most of us here. You'll be surprised at the amount of content we have to cover just to get our diploma,
To be honest, I don't welcome that. The education system implemented into our infrastructure makes most non-educational prospects very punishing. If your re a potential designer or dancer or simply anyone who isn't pursuing the mainstream academics, you are much better off overseas. Not that I am taking any of those courses, though. I do respect the integrated and well-versed modules to train us into professionals, though we need some additions on the hands-on lab practices and internships.
I'm a simple student who tried pursuing multiple talents, and lack the commitment in any of them. Reason? Academic commitments. I mean, if you have to sacrifice your time to attend additional tutorials for co-curricular training, it really stresses you out. In addition to that, my results aren't really extraordinary. I've tried bboy-ing, boxing, and basketball, and I regret none of it. What I do regret is lacking the proper time management to assign and commit myself to my interests ( and I'm not even that heavy of a gamer!).
So here's a simple addition to an Asian's hectic life. More will come soon, I guess.
Did I mention that my Semestral examinations are in two week's time? Yeahhh, so I won't be very committed to this blog, for now. I'll still keep this updated enough, though.
-Pin.
